Minimum Florida Security Employment Requirements:
- Clean criminal background / Clean arrest history
- Minimum of 18 yrs of age
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Available to work in all areas
- Available to work weekends, nights and overtime
- Need to have dependable transportation
- Be proficient in report writing and verbal communication
- Pass security guard background screening including:
Application, Interview, Reference verification & Drug screening.
In addition, all security officer job applicants have to complete a basic security guard course.
Preferred Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of college
- 2 years security, law enforcement, or private sector security experience
